As 2010 draws to a close, I am very thankful that my Mother took out a Long-Term Care Policy years ago with Genworth Financial. As she has recently had to have an in-home caregiver, it has been a blessing to know that she is covered for this expense and can hopefully stay in her own home for as long as possible. While none of us can prevent having health problems as we get older, it's comforting to know that Long-Term Care Insurance is there when you need it the most. This comforts me as her caregiver.
